Divi theme: the Blog Module… and a Little Extra
The Divi Pagebuilder theme may be the perfect theme for a page based website but what if you want to add a blog to your site…. can Divi cope with that?
You bet it can in fact Divi allows you to add blog posts almost anywhere you like on your pages, create a traditional blog page, display your posts in column or masonry layouts and use five custom post formats.
You can do all this using the Divi Pagebuilder in combination with the star of today’s post… the Divi Blog Module.

Extra Magazine theme: Sneak peek
I said recently that Elegant Themes are working on two big projects: the Monarch social share and follow plugin and the Extra magazine theme.
Well Monarch has now been released so my guess is that all the devs who were working on Monarch are now working on Extra, and that’s good news for anyone looking for a fabulous magazine theme or perhaps an early Christmas present.
This post is a sneak peek to prepare you for the arrival of the Extra Magazine theme, the theme that looks set to do for post based websites what the Divi Pagebuilder theme has done for page based websites and I for one, can hardly wait.

Divi 2.2: Single Video and Video Slider Modules
Divi 2.2 has just been released folks and if you’re an avid video user or just want an easy way to embed a few videos on your WordPress website… it’s time to start doing the happy dance.
The new Divi release comes with various fixes and improvements but more importantly, it now includes not one, but two new video related modules: the Single Video Module and the Video Slider Module.
Both Modules have great display features that allow you to add stunning video content anywhere on your Divi Pagebuilder pages and customise the appearance with your own image overlays.
And as you would expect, both Modules are compatible with all video provider embedding that WordPress natively supports, such as Vimeo and YouTube.

Monarch plugin: build and display your Social Followers
This is the third post in a series about Monarch, the new social sharing and follow plugin from Elegant Themes.
The first post was an introduction and overview of Monarch, the second one looked at the social sharing side of Monarch and this one will look at the social following features of the plugin.
Before Monarch I had to use separate plugins for Sharing and Following and a third plugin to add a floating sidebar. But now I do everything with one plugin and all from one dashboard.
