Welcome to the blog... great articles on the Divi theme
Videos, examples, links and lots of other information about the Divi drag and drop pagebuilder theme - the theme to beat in 2014Monarch 1.2: better Stats and smarter Triggers
These days Elegant Themes are concentrating on quality over quantity.
They’re producing high end, high quality themes and plugins and concentrating on making them non-coder friendly, adding user generated features, providing fabulous documentation and videos and improving them with each release.
If Divi was the first of their “super themes” then Monarch was the first of their “super plugins” and with version 1.2… it just got better.
Monarch version 1.2 has better stats and smarter triggers, but there are a lot more improvements and additions to look at, so let’s get started.

Divi Booster plugin: add Page Builder to posts
The Divi Booster plugin has just been released and of its 50+ configuration options the one that Divi users will be falling over themselves to try is… adding the Page Builder to posts.
There are other ways to do it, for instance Dan Mossop, the Divi Booster developer, has published a post, which gives code to add to your functions.php file and Laterna Studios have recently released a plugin to make the Page Builder available on post types of your choosing.
You can cut and paste Dan’s code or download Laterna Studios’ plugin or you can use the Divi Booster plugin and add Page Builder functionality to your posts… with just a single mouse click.

Divi Booster plugin: my top three features
At the moment Dan Mossop, the developer of the Divi Booster plugin, is adding even more functionality, making a few tweaks and generally getting everything ready for the big release.
The plugin is scheduled to be available from Tuesday 10th Feb 15 and will have an initial price of $15 with a 35% discount to anyone who signs up to Dan’s mailing list.
Dan was kind enough to let me have a pre release copy, which I’ve been playing with, and whilst we’re waiting for the plugin to be released I thought that I’d share my top three features of this fabulous plugin.

Divi Booster plugin: the easy way to customise Divi
One of the great things about the Divi theme is the community that has grown up around it and that community has produced some awesome resources to help you change, tweak and customise your own Divi site.
My good friend Dan Mossop has produced more than most with his Divi tutorials covering topics such as Stop the Divi Header from Shrinking on Scroll, Put Divi Slide Images on the Right, Add Semi-Transparent Background to Divi Slider Text and for the really adventurous Using the Divi Page Builder on Posts.
Dan’s tutorials are detailed, well set out and easy to follow but he realises that not everyone has the technical skills, time or inclination to study and implement them so he’s produced the Divi Booster plugin to do all the leg work for you and if my first impression of the plugin is anything to go by… this is a “must have” plugin for all Divi users.

Divi theme: even more reasons for using Divi
The feature that gives Divi its power and makes it unique is the the Divi Builder. The Builder allows you to create stunning layouts by dragging and dropping Divi’s building blocks into whatever order you like… without touching a single line of code.
Combine the Divi Builder with Divi modules, which allow you to add contact forms, sliders, newsletter opt-ins, portfolios etc. to your website, and it’s easy to see why Divi has become Elegant Themes #1 selling theme and why it’s built up a fabulous community of users including its own Facebook group.
But don’t think that Divi is just a drag and drop pagebuilder theme, because it offers so much more.
